Rock Dove J-31 July 31st, 2006 graphite on paper This was the second try to model a spaceship on an animal. I kinda wonder if its not a really gimmicky idea... Anyway i modeled this bigger ship after a Rock Dove (aka pigeon) because of how well they can fly. This is meant to be a delivery ship and pigeons are fantastic at doing that, they can't carry anything to big but they were used to deliver messages for a good long time and plus wild rock doves are kinda cool looking birds. The "J-31" is from the date it was first drawn, July 31st, its a little goofy i know. |
